Um, just wondering…how long did creating this take? Because it’s wonderful.
Also, I actually found this to be quite useful, since I am planning on ‘remodeling’ a few areas, and had not given much thought to height prior to this.
Hi, it takes me around 15 minutes to do 6 sq. ft., much less time if I don’t use newspaper. This includes loading up the wheelbarrow.
What do you mean by height?
I was just referring to the arches and trees and the like that you used. I’d been planning an arch in the sideyard, but not much beyond that. I’ll think about adding some taller shrubs and such.
Oh, I see. The arch is Bittersweet over Re-bar. The trees were quite large when I got them, but this section of the garden is about 3 years old. Hope this helps…

beautiful pictures !!!! cant wait to watch it come back this spring on your blog – please keep posting
Thank you so very much. It is just a bent piece of re-bar, but worth every penny.
My first visitor from Bonnie Scotland! I would love to visit your romantic area sometime.
I must check out your blog. Thanks for visiting.
Very pretty garden! I enjoyed seeing the plants grow up and over the arch as the summer passed.

Thanks Donalyn!
I love that wonderful photograph of the arch in the golden sunlight. What a lovely garden.
Thank you! It is simply a piece of curved re-bar with bittersweet growing over it, but it works.
